What has become a fun tradition, we took our annual trip to Iowa for pheasants. We meet with friends who let us stay on their property, and we hunt some beautiful countryside. This year was hotter than normal, with temperatures hitting the 80's, and very dry. So scenting conditions were not their best, but we manage to get our birds!

Iowa 2.0
We decided to take advantage of the nice fall to head back to Iowa for a second round. We hunted three days and had a good time and the dogs got some more great experience.
